Now that an infinite space has come to existence, the element Air comes along with its principle of movement. It wants to explore every nook and corner of the space. Its intelligence lies in the way it may explore and change at will its own direction to pervade everything. But this is not done haphazardly. On one hand, it reveals a great potential in introducing a healthy movement in a situation that has been stagnant for too long; on the other hand, it may disturb and alter an already fragile balance. The air is light (like ether), it is dry (the wind dries things) and it is rough. Besides, the air brings life to matter and sets things in motion. Nothing would function without the Air element, from the nervous impulses, to the blood running in our veins and arteries, to the reactions to external impulses, up to our thought process, to name a few of its many roles in life process.
